„This system would work to the find a middle ground between a DRM/IP regime lockdown, and what Nesson referred to as a "disaster" for the content industry, though I would argue that movies/TV/Cable are different that other media, and each media needs to be considered on it's own, when thinking about these issues. In fact, I think that low quality video files are considered to be of just-okay quality for people wanting a quick glance at content, and so they may download something on one of these networks, but that people really want the big rich high quality screen experience, hence video's inability to kill the experience or desire by people to go out to see a big screen movie, and people aalso love watching DVD's on plasma, because of the rich experience... downloaded files on little screens are just not nice in that way. Imagine watching Lord of the Rings on a five inch screen.“

„The director of the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University, Simon Baron-Cohen, makes the case in his new book The Essential Difference that autism represents an extreme manifestation of the "male brain." In his view, male brains are hardwired for "extracting the underlying rules that govern a system." (He carefully adds, "Your sex does not determine your brain type.") While the jury is still out on testosterone, a set of clinical studies in the UK confirm that both male and female savants are better at extracting the rules that govern systems than normal people.“http://grant.henninger.name/archives/ 2003_11.html#002507 - Cached

„In response to a post by Dave Winer, Matt Goyers says "So just think about what you could do with RSS, BitTorrent and a Media Center." I'm not sure why you'd use Media Center when MythTV is available. I suspect its just a matter of time until someone puts RSS+BitTorrent inside Myth TV. If I'd thought about it sooner, I'd have had my Networking class do it this semester for a final project.“http://jedi.school.nz/discuss/archive/thediscussion/.../ 2004-04-09--20.38.07.discuss.html - Cached
