„Directed by John Herzfeld, the story revolves around a cop chasing murderer plot and gets its title from Andy Warhol's 1968 claim that "In the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes". The entire movie trailer is backed by Bowie's Fame to accompany the theme. I was sad to see that Television Without Pity was not offering episode recaps, however, a post on decaf venti tipped me off to the blow-by-blow coverage on After Ellen, a fantastic resource. While I have a fondness for teleseries set in schools (may be the only place where public school teachers receive a modicum of respect in the public discussion), the fact remains that Public has always been a middling show: more concerned with teasing gimmicks and predictable character quirks (for this season, see straight laced Vice-Principal Guber's strained romance with former porn actress Sherilyn Fenn) than with looking at the real issues facing urban high schools today.
