Some slightly related:
[Kimberly Jo's] The Talk...: Every time I said something I was told thats not how it was, or thats not what I said, or thats not what I felt. I was told it was this way, I was not right, that I didnt' feel that way or say or do that. The sarcasm was ridiculously high toward me so of course I became defensive and my sarcasm didn't stay buried. My husband was spoke to like he was stupid and like he was 10 with the finger pointed at him a couple times. He was blamed for walking away all the time and thats the reason the family separated. It was all him. Had nothing to do with him being given an ultimatum at the time. My 12-year-old daughter was accused of having behavior issues/anger management problems and accused of lying about things when confronted or not to her liking. They said she started the screaming and throwing and that she lies to make herself look good. They feel it's OK to have a close relationship with my husbands EX because they don't pick my husbands friends so why would he pick theirs. We don't have to come around when she's there this summer. Its our problem if we can't handle it but he's not being told he can't visit with them while she's there.
[Open The Fridge] Movie Review: The Fly 2: To put it bluntly, compared to the superb effects of the first movie, the make-up present in The Fly II sucks. Instead of going through a harrowing transformation, with the human body becoming the cocoon that will be graphically shed throughout the climax, Martin turns into another larval cocoon like he was born from. How nice, clean and…commercial. At least this movie has no pretensions of artistry, because none is present.

No, this isn't at all like you, and yes, your friends will be stunned. Too bad. The Bottom Line... stories we pray we'll live long enough to tell our great-grandchildren about. lol. this is funny
[Mental multivitamin] Weekend pursuits: ) Everybody knows our cultural fascination with grass-farming flits beyond the bounds of logic. But we do it anyway. We each have our reasons, and some of those reasons are even rational. My own reason... and Music and Why We Should, Like, Care (John McWhorter) And it's true that to some extent
[Cheaper than Therapy] Bad Behavior, Filibusters, Abortion and the Christian Right's Persecution Complex: it is okay, because it is good activism. Listen, we all know the fight is over Roe V. Wade... and not destroy democracy in America. This is what burns me up about the right. Not only do we have to be against abortion, which I am. But, we have to be, anti-poor and pro-corporate "do whatever they want
[It's Madame DeBarge Time!] My Fabulous Life, Part 2...Marriage Made in Heaven!: this... I looked down at the floor for a moment, thinking (yes, thought actually WAS involved), then looked back at Caleb and said "Sure. I got nothing better to do on a day off."Yes, yes I did. He... more ego than any three guys really needed, but wasn't too bad of a kid.) Caleb had told him he
