[BLUEPEAR RADIO] The copy protection on the new Dave Matthews Band record is causing a stir even as the disc’s lyrics offer a faint whiff of anti-corporate sentiment (urging listeners to “wake up” and beware “the man with the bomb in his hand”). It seems that some Windows users are having a bit of a problem getting the songs from their disc to their iPod or other portable mp3 device.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Life as a Spectator Sport] Homemade breads, part 2: Not really much of a decision there. The next time my work takes me up into the Shenandoah Valley, where several retailers sell wheat in 50-pound sacks, I'll come home with a couple of sacks. I have no earthly idea how long that will last, but I guess we'll find out.
[Blog.wfmu.org] WFMU's Beware of the Blog: WFMU in General: NYC composer, professor and musicologist Dave Soldier's beena longtime fave around these parts; from his extremely academic study ofboiling down the ultimate best and worst pop song one could create based onmass population surveys, to recordings of Thai Elephants grooving oninstruments, you know to expect some quality sounds. His site (above) just putup some MP3s of his latest project, teaching six to eight year old kids at theAmber School in Harlem to compose and perform their own rap music, and they doit amazingly! From the Tuff Kidz's outsassing of Kelis, to the extremely funkedup demand for chicken wings by the Boys and Girls' Club of the Night (if thekids have been making up their own monikers, they are totally killer), this stuffis done with minimal adult involvement aside from a little coaching.

In altering his normal anti-Western canard Imam Sheikh Ibrahim Muderas is telling us that, indeed, they do have the infrastructure necessary to exact punishment in England. He goes so far as to explain the why's and stops just short of the how's the who's and the when's.
