„I switched to Nero 6. That gives you much more control, and moving video backgrounds on your DVD menu screens, but its MPEG2 seems to result in less nice looking output (especially if the scene is complex and there's a lot of panning going on). Making disks takes an age. Ok, so we're compressing the DV to on average a third its size but again, why cant it use more of my processors to do it?“

„My new Tablet PC is much better for running on battery time - I haven't really timed it but I know I get a good 3-4 hours on it. This has made huge improvements in my existence already since if I am going into a meeting with a client, I don't necessarily have to drag in my charger or worry if I am sitting close enough to an outlet. My productivity should not be dictated by the amount of charge left in my battery.“http://blog.funknstyle.com/archives/ cat_tablet_pc.html#000339 - Cached

„I haven't recorded anything with it, but playback was quite good on both DV and VHS. A nice feature is that it outputs both DV and analog VHS to firewire, so you can hook this VCR up to the firewire port on your computer and instantly start capturing and editing old analog videos. That feature alone is very valuable, since it saves having to get a separate analog-to-DV bridge converter.“http://www.mediageek.org/archives/001980.html - Cached

„Still, there will be many PC-oriented users who will scoff at the power of the Macintosh-based non-linear solution. There is an interesting bonus of having the profiles of nine high-powered professionals and their reasons for switching to FCP for certain projects, including insights on how they went about organizing their projects, shortcuts, tips and other comments readers may find applicable to their own situations.“http://www.b-roll.net/products/fcpavid.html - Cached
„During editing, the CRT shows two TV sets, two remote control pads, and two pads of yellow ruled paper. The TV, remote control, and yellow pad on the left show the original master tape; the ones on the right show the resulting, edited tape. In addition to the play/fast and forward/rewind remote control buttons, there are buttons to move forward or back by a single frame, or to the next scene.“http://www.adaic.org/atwork/editvid.html - Cached
„I've looked at Nero Burning ROM (I've always been a fan of Nero) but I'm not sure it will do exactly what I want. I'm looking for something that will let me create a menu system as well and burn the movie to DVD. I've downloaded Ulead's DVD Movie Factory and it has some cool features, but it doesn't seem to want to squeeze my 1 hour and 44 minute 24GB AVI of raw footage (4.4GB converted) into a 4.7GB DVD-R.“http://www.wessalmon.com/000160.html - Cached

„It has a DVD+/-RW drive made by Optorite, which came with the Sonic MyDVD 4.0.4 (Build 73194) software. I can create the project, but just as it is about to write to the DVD I also get the error: "Could not complete the last command because: End of file (DVDErr, -16072)" Doing a seach on Sonic's webpage resulted in the following find: http://cs.sonic.com/scripts/texcel/swise/ksearch.dll?DisplayDetail?12&0&0&1&12&330&12&16072%20 “http://www.tongfamily.com/guide_to_home_movies/ 001049.html - Cached
